Science Diet Dog Food at Petsmart

I got a $3 off coupon for the new Queen Creek Petsmart in the mail today for any dog food.

I googled science diet and found a coupon for $8/1 35 lb or larger. Click here for coupon. It will only let your print it once.

Stack the two coupons together for $11 off. The 40 lb food is around 31.99. Take off the $11 and that is $20.99 for a 40 lb bag of Science Diet. This is a great deal for me considering the that is the cost of the $20 lb bag at my vet.

I recieved this email today and thought I would pass it on:

Hi Deanna,

I thought you and your readers would be interested in Wish-Bone’s offer to receive a FREE bottle of new Wish-Bone Bountifuls salad dressings from May 30 to June 1. Salad lovers can purchase a bottle of Bountifuls at their local market, then log on to www.wish-bone.com/Digital-Garden.aspx to download the mail-in rebate form and send it in with their receipt. The free offer is part of Wish-Bone’s “Go Greens! Eat Salad” Campaign to encourage people to eat more vegetables. Consumers can plant and tend their own digital gardens at Wish-Bone.com (www.wish-bone.com/Digital-Garden.aspx) and be entered to win a reusable Greenshopper grocery bag throughout the summer. P&G E-Saver and Shortcuts.com Deals at Fry's UPDATED

Updated with Huggies Promo Dates

Did you know that you can have coupons electronically loaded to your Fry's card? There are two sites that allow you to do this.

http://www.pgesaver.com/Sites/PG_eSAVER/Page/HomePage/

http://www.shortcuts.com/

You will need to register and input your Fry's shopping card information. Then the coupons are automatically applied when you check out using your Fry's card. I have already saved a lot of money doing this.

The exciting part is that you can also use your paper coupons (i.e. the coupons that come in the Sunday paper) on top of the e-coupons. For example, if you have a coupon for $1 for the Oscar Mayer Deli Creation you can use it on top of the $1 e-coupon. Thru Tuesday, Fry's has these for 2.79, so after both coupons the final price is only $.79.

Other tips for using e-coupons:

  • For the P&G you can only load 25 coupons to your card. Make sure you choose the coupons you want first because there are more than 25 coupons available.
  • For shortcuts.com, you can only load 20 coupons.
  • You can only use one coupon at a time. Once you get back home though, you should be able to add it again and use it the next time you go to Fry's. I have not tested this too much, so let me know how it works for you. You might be able to do more than one transaction to use the coupon again in the same trip... ?? Just a thought...haven't tried it yet.
  • Check your receipts to make sure the coupon came off.
  • Print your list of coupons and take them with you to the store. That way you know what coupons you have in case you come across a good deal.

Deals this week (thru Tuesday, YMMV)

  • Check out all of the B1G1 coupons from P&G. You can pair these with the coupons that came in the paper and get items really cheap. I got the Crest toothpaste and oral-b toothbrushes for free. On the b1g1 deals you can actually use a paper coupon for each item. Example: toothpaste was 2/$4 at the Bella Vista Fry's. Using the b1g1 e-coupon you pay only $2.00 for 2. Add on two $1.00 off coupons and you are down to FREE!
  • Covergirl mascara and eyeshadow are only about .60 each after e-coupons and the $2.50 off two coupons from the last P&G insert.
  • Upload the huggies coupons to go with the promo at Fry's. Example: buy 1 package of pull-ups, 1 package of regular huggies, and a tub of wipes. Your total will be 21.48, then you get $4 off for buying 20 worth of huggies products (17.48). Then take off your paper coupons, .50 (doubled), $2 for the pull-ups, and $1 for the diapers. Now we are down to 13.48. Subtract a $2 and a $1 e-coupon and you will only pay 10. 48 for 2 jumbo packs of huggies and a tub of wipes! The paper coupons were in last Sunday's SmartSource insert. You can also click here for a pull-ups coupon if you don't get the paper. Huggies promo good through May 24, 2008.

Sidenote: I actually had 2 $1.50/1 coupons I received in the mail from Huggies. If you click here you can sign up to receive those same offers.

CVS 5/11 - 5/17

COLGATE MaxFresh burst, Total Advance clean, whitening, fresh toothpaste 4oz ORWave or Sponge Bob toothbrush. You pay $2.99, get $2.00 EBC's back, like paying $0.99cents for one tube of toothpaste and a toothbrush. Limit 5 per card.

My money-making plan: Take my 3 Colgate Total Advanced Whitening $1.50 off coupons (Each coupon from an All You Mag., page 76), and another $1.50 off one from Colgate.com (hit the back button to try for more than 1!). Plus there was a $1.00 off coupon in the 4/27 SmartSource insert. I'll use one of those too.

$2.99 Colgate x 5 = $14.95
+ $0.77 Ajax dish liquid (as a filler to kick my pre-tax total over $15.00) = $15.72
- $3/$15 coupon from HERE = $12.72...
- $7 in my coupons = 5.72 + tax OOP.

When all is said & done, I will get $10 back in ECB's, making myself about $4.00!! If you can get 5 $1.50 off coupons, you'll make more!!

JOHNSON'S BABY CARE 2 for $5
Buddies, powder, lotion, oil wash, shampoo, balm, bedtime washcloths, or Desitin 2 oz.

On the Johnson's baby wash, you should find a little $1.00 off Desitin coupon! Score!

My plan:
2 15 oz. Johnson's baby wash + 2 Desitin 2 oz
= $10.00
Use my 2 $1.00 off Johnson's coupons from HERE
Use 2 $1.00 off Desitin coupons from the Johnson's baby wash.
= $10 - $4.00 in coupons = $6.00 for all 4 items.

You won't make any ECB's, but I'm OK with that because $1.50 for each of those items is a great price! Plus I'll pay for them with my previous ECB's, making them FREE anyways!

PLUG FOR *ALL YOU* MAGAZINE

Not only will you make some money off of the Colgate $1.50 coupon from the All You Magazine, but you will also find a coupon for FREE Adidas Action 3 Anti Perspirant 2.8 oz. (pg. 85), and you'll get $4.99 back in ECB's. Both great money makers!!

I bought ( 3 ) All You Magazine at Walmart for $1.77 each and have saved MUCH more than that with the great coupons inside! Must buy!

Gillette 2 in 1 Body Wash @ Walgreens

** UPDATE 5/13** I went to the Walgreens on Hunt Highway, by Sonic, to use my final coupon and they gave me a mail-in rebate form to send in with my receipt. Supposedly they've caught on to their grand idea (which was also advertised in the Sunday Walgreens ad, so I'm sure that brought in a lot of traffic). Glad I got them when I did! **

Today at my local Walgreens, I bought one of the new Gillette body wash ($3.72, reg. price $4.99) and it spit out a FREE coupon for another! So, I bought my next body wash using my FREE coupon and only paid the $0.23 cent sales tax....and then it spit out yet ANOTHER coupon!
(I went to the Wg at Hunt Highway & Bella Vista area - the body wash was located on a shelf in the make-up area across from the flip-flops, not near the other body washes).

After 6, the cashier guy wanted to check & make sure everything was OK with my numerous transactions and so he checked with his manager, and his manager basically asked me not to do any more and leave some for other people! The coupon doesn't state a limit, so give it a shot! But don't press your luck & get a bad rep at Walgreens :D

My grand total: $4.87 for 6. That's $0.81 cents each, yah baby! And I left with yet another FREE coupon. I'll try another Walgreens tomorrow. Muhahahaha

Preparing Wisely-- New Store in Mesa

I got this info from Cresta's Blog:

There will be a new food storage/emergency preparedness store in Mesa next to Deseret Book on Mesa Drive. (By the Temple) called Preparing Wisely.

Grand Opening will be Memorial Day Weekend, but the store is already open from 12-5 Mon - Sat. Here is the website: http://www.preparingwisely.com/ .

They do some of the following:
  • Whole Grains in Bulk
  • 72 Hour Kits
  • First Aid Kits /Auto Emergency Kits
  • Different camping gear
  • Survival Items
  • Water Storage including Barrells, containers, pumps, mylar bags etc
  • Dehydrated, Freeze Dryed Food
  • Food Storage Solutions
  • Financial Preparedness information
  • Info on Food storage needs, debt etc.

144 S. Mesa Dr.Suite D Mesa, AZ 85210 ph: (480) 964-3077 troy@preparingwisely.com

I think I might have just found myself a new favorite store!!!

Michelina's free at Basha's.

Basha's has Michelina's frozen meals for $ .50 right now. Under each one of the meals (underside of the lid) is a coupon Buy 2 get $ .50 off.
If these are doubled, that is free.

You can also print coupons @ http://michelinas.com/SaveMoney.aspx. These won't make them free and I am not sure if the variety matches with the ones that are not on sale. But it would let you get the first ones for cheaper before you take the lids off.

2008 Entertainment coupon book

I was wondering if anyone had bought a 2008 Entertainment Coupon Book and what your experiences have been. I've been thinking about buying one now that they're only $9.99 with free shipping. What kind of savings have you gotten from it? And would it be worth buying so late in the year?

Click here to view the coupon book details: 2008 Entertainment Book

$1/1 Mission Tortillas

When I printed out all of my tortilla chips coupons yesterday, I somehow missed the tortilla coupon. So be sure to get your coupons for your free Mission tortillas @ Frys!

Click HERE & then click on the "print a coupon" on the left side, in grey. Hopefully, you'll be able to print out at least 2 coupons.

Reporting My Progress

I thought I'd let you all know how progress is coming for the "new girl".
My first attempt has been with CVS. Here's how it went-I got:

6 toothpastes
4 toothbrushes
6 Adidas deoderants
2 Jumbo feminine products

All for $20 out of pocket, and $15 ECB. Not a bad start, right!? If I had organized my transactions correctly I could have done the whole thing for just $5 out of pocket. I will learn. I think I'm getting the hang of it.

Summer Movie Fun!

Palm Valley 14 (Goodyear) and Gateway 12 (Mesa) Theatres are having FREE movies each weekend April through July. For $3 you can add drink, popcorn and treat!
Click here to see the SCHEDULE.

Harkins Theatres also offers Summer Fun Movies, 10 family movies for $7. For $4 you can add a children's concession combo.
Click here to see the CALENDAR.

KEZ Gift Certificates courtesy of ClearChannel

For AZ residents: There are radio websites that offer half price deals on gift certificates for new places each week. Some of the places I've never heard of but they have done offers to some great places before (Sports authorit, Texas roadhouse). They offer $50 certificates for $25. If you go to this website: http://kezcertificates.clearchannel.com/cc-common/ddindex2.php there are station deals and on the right side there are also links to other offers on other stations.

Coupon Clubs

For those of you that aren't interested in joining Coupon$ense at this time, there are other Coupon Clubs on line that are FREE to join that are also very helpful. They might not have the shopping list features or as much of the organization as Coupon$ense, but they are also VERY helpful in getting your groceries for super cheap! Check them out and let us know what you think! If you know of any that I am missing, let me know so that I can add them!

http://www.pinchingyourpennies.com/ heard good stuff about this one!
