Bargain Moms Giveaway: 2 Containers of WetOnes for every class in your child's school!
I recently posted a coupon for $1.00 off WetOnes, and if you missed it, Energizer Personal Care announced that that in response to recent swine flu outbreaks, they would donate 500,000 packages of Wet Ones® Antibacterial Wipes to schools.
We all know how kids can be like little carrier monkeys, spreading yucky germs to and fro, and although the CDC recommends hand washing as the first line of defense against spreading disease, these sanitizing wipes kill 99.99% of germs, as well as remove dirt and grime. These wipes are perfect for the mommy on the go! (or just as importantly, the teacher with a class full of coughing, sneezing kids!)
So, one of our BargainMoms readers can win a supply of Wet Ones for your child's (grandchilds, neighbors) entire school! That's two containers for each and every classroom in the entire school! All you have to do is leave a comment on this post by May 10th letting us know how many times a year you, or members of your household get sick with a flu. The winner will be announced on May 11th by POST, so check back on the 11th to see if you have won!! If you are the lucky winner, we will need full contact info from you as well as which school your child attends so that the child's school can be contacted to make drop-off arrangements.
For more info on how to keep your family healthy, and for your $1.00 off coupon, you can visit the Wet Ones site here!

Too many times! I would say between the 5 of us, 3 times a year. And when one person gets it, we all get it! Fun!
Avery goes to Frances Brandon Pickett Elementary here in QC.
We are pretty lucky in our house. Maybe a couple times a year.
We have been very lucky and have not had the true "flu" more than once a year - just some other stomach viruses and strep throat, etc. I attribute it to getting our flu shots every year.
One or two times a year!
At least once a year - the throw down stay in bed and can't move FLU:(
What a cool contest. Love your site.
Once or twice a year! How exciting, what a fun giveaway!!
I am lucky maybe once a year
We've been very lucky, maybe once a year someone gets knocked down with the flu, but sometimes we make it through without it getting us!
We usually all get the flu shot so usually flu like symptoms are somewhat rare but something did hit just about a week and half ago.
so far no flu, we have 3 children 8 and under and we do NOT get flu shots.
Thanx for the opportunity, love the site
We haven't had the flu yet, but have had strep at least 10 times in the last 6 months :( I firmly beleive this comes from the schools.
Just about once a year! Thanks for all your wonderful advice. I love your blog!!
We always seem to have something floating around the house. Between carpooling neighbors and me working at an excersise gym, we pick-up too many bugs. The flu went through our house this past winter which was the horrible cough and sinus problems that kept all sick for a good month. I remind everyone to wash hands, but it doesn't always happen!
Thanks for the contest!!!
My family has not had the flu in several years. I disinfect bathrooms weekly and the kitchen daily (including light switches and door handles) which may help with contamination. We also go to a school that is conscientious about hand washing and wiping down desk tops and door handles.
There are 4 kids in my house and we get it maybe twice a year but everyone gets it including my hubby. yuck. Thanks for the contest!!!!
We usually get it 4 to 5 times a year, my mother in law is a teacher and she brings it home from school all the time. Its nasty!
Once maybe twice a year we get the bug...
We get the flu about 2-3 times per year. I wish I could say we never get it!!!
We are more prone to colds in our house, I think we get those too often 5-6 times a year. The flu we maybe only catch once or twice and then luckily only a few of the 6 of us will get it. Knock on wood:)
Funny enough, I can not remember the last time I had the flu. I have been married for 11 years and have three children. None of them have ever had the flu. I try to keep them clean and make them wash hands when they get home from school.
We don't get sick very often but with five children and my in home daycare, even if each person only gets sick once a year we have some sort of sickness at least once a month.
Thanks to all of you who entered!
