Free Snapfish Book

For part of "Oprah's Clean Up Your Messy House Tour," Snapfish is offering a free 8"x11" custom cover photo book.  I haven't tried it yet, but plan to.  Go here and follow the link to Snapfish.  Limit one per household and the offer does not include shipping and handling or extra pages.  You have to sign up for this by Friday and redeem it by Sunday for it to work.  Have fun, and the first one to try it, let us know how it went!

I was wondering if anyone knows the answer to this question...With Fry's accepting competitor coupons, do they allow you to use more than one per transaction (ie: Fresh & Easy's $6 off $30 coupon ALONG WITH Walgreen's $3 off $10 coupon)?

Lacey,
They should let you use both as long as your total order (before coupons) is $40.00. I didn't have a problem doing it.

I didn't read anywhere that they put a limit on how many competitor coupons you can use in one transaction.

Also, the Fry's closest to you on Combs is prob going to be the best one to shop at with the quadruple coupons. I have had a lot of complains from people about the store on Hunt Hwy.

BTW, Thanks for this post, Stephanie! Great find!

I have only used Mypublisher and Blurb before, but my SIL has used Snapfish before and it works the same way.

Their books come out really nice.

Guess I know what I'll be doing today!

Hi all! This is a comment about the Snapfish photo books. I just finished mine after a looong five hours. Here are some things you need to know...

It will help if you have all of the photos you plan to use already downloaded on your computer in a file and already edited. You can use Snapfish's edit tools, but it might move slowly since the site is being used by a lot of "Bargain Moms" just like us.

Next, enter the Snapfish site through the Oprah link provided. It says that you can get the deal if you go there before the end of the day Friday (today) and make your book by Sunday...but for some reason the credit wouldn't show on mine until I had a book in the cart. So I suggest if you want one, finish yours by the cutoff on Friday.

When you make your book, make sure you make the "CUSTOM COVER 8x11 photo book". If you make anything other than that, it will not work. I made the mistake of doing the "classic cover" and had to make a new one from scratch... ugh. The site is very easy to navigate through, as long as you pick a good time to make yours. I started last night and it moved like mollasses. When I went back to it this morning it was MUCH faster. Also, there are 20 pages included in the deal and you can put different layouts on each page. The maximum number of pictures you can fit on each page is 9. Most of my pages had 3 or 4 pictures.

When you finish your book, put it in the cart and proceed to checkout. Enter your credit card and personal info. There is NOT a coupon code, so just go ahead and click "next" (it might be enter or forward...I don't remember). This will NOT place your final order. You should have a "review your order screen". If your price does not reflect the $29.99 discount, go up to the top right corner where it says "chat live". There will be a pop-up box that opens and from there it has instructions for the Oprah deal. There is a link you click on and it should automatically credit your account. You need to go to your shopping cart again and make sure your total now reads $7.38 (shipping only). Hit enter and you are done.

Don't bother trying to call Snapfish, the automated system just disconnects you. Probably due to an overload in people calling for the Oprah deal.

If you follow these tips I think a NORMAL person should be able to make a basic book in about an hour (and not FIVE, like me).

Good luck!!!!
P.S. It will take 7-10 business days to get your book since there are so many being ordered.

P.S. Regarding Snapfish: There is more information that might make your book purchase/credit run smoother. On the Oprah page they have a link that says "Get the Answers Here"...in that link is an easier way to access the credit than going through the steps I listed earlier (i.e. going through the "chat live" link...it's the same page either way you go).

Hmm, I don't know if this is new info or if I was just having a blonde moment and had to do it the hard way.

So I did mine yesterday, and was a little paranoid about it when I was doing my checkout process, because it didn't take the $29.99 off until the very last screen, but it asked for your Visa # before that. it worked great, I paid my $7.00ish for shipping and it only took me about an hour to do my photo book. Now, if I NEVER scrapbook a single picture from 2008 of my girls, I won't feel so guilty!

I got an email from Snapfish saying that if you went to this site by Friday (yesterday) and got the deal in your cart, they are extending the deadline until the 22nd to order your book! Good thing, cause it might take me 5 hours to make mine too.
