WATER

My friend just told me that they have 55 gallon water drums at Walmart for $40.00!! Those are almost $70 online at the emergency preparedness places. If you can afford one, this would be a wise investment!

**A person can live for weeks without food, but significant damage can be done to your body in a matter of days without water. A 55 gallon water barrel is one of the easiest, most efficient ways to maintain your long-term permanent home water storage supply. 55 gallons of water will provide 4 people about a gallon a day each for drinking (2 quarts), cooking, and light personal sanitation (2 quarts) for 2 weeks. This amount is recommended as a minimum supply of emergency water.

Don't forget to also stock up on bleach as a water purifier!

I bought one today! It's even blue, which is what I was looking for - they're best to keep out the heat to reduce the growth of algae & such. I also bought a siphun hose for $8.00!! FANTASTIC DEAL!!

Where would these be in Wal-mart? I want to check it out!

These were considered part of hardware, but they were in the center section of the north side of the store, close to the paint. :)

What Wal-mart did you go to? I have been to two Wal-Marts and I can't find them.

I bought mine at the Walmart on Gary & Hunt Highway, in Queen Creek. I was there today and they had 6 left!

The WM on Ocotillo and Rittenhouse has them back by the meat section. I think they were $47
