Walgreens Take Care Clinic Free Healthcare for those who lose their jobs

I read on Mashup Mom today that:
Take Care clinics inside Walgreens will offer free family services for the rest of 2009 to those who lose their jobs and are without health insurance.

Free healthcare visits for our past, present, and future patients, and their families, who lose their jobs and are uninsured. "Sacrificing quality healthcare for you and your family should never be an option. That’s why we created the Take Care Recovery Plan for our current and future patients."
Find out more and answers to FAQ at the Walgreens site.

An article in USA Today also lists a few more job-loss offers:

  • Hyundai offers “assurance plus,” under which they will make up to three payments for new car buyers who lose their jobs and will take the car back with no penalties if you haven’t found work after that.
  • JetBlue waives flight cancellation fees for customers who lose their jobs.

  • Jos. A. Bank customers who buy $199 suits and lose their jobs will have their money refunded — and can keep the suits.

  • It also mentions the one-day free resume printing that FedEx stores offered earlier this month, saying that 24,000 took advantage of the offer and printed 890,000 resumes.
  • Pass this on to any friends or family that you know that might need this!

    Thanks, MashupMom!
